Come celebrate the transition from summer to fall on the eve of the equinox, and experience the ceremonial custom of 108 sun salutations. An equinox is a time of change in nature and an opportunity to embrace renewal and inspiration within ourselves. With this autumnal equinox, let us surrender to the changing season around us and within through this powerful, inspiring practice.
A Sun Salutation, or Surya Namaskar, comes from the Sanskrit words— Surya (sun) and Namaskar (to bow to). We'll offer this community flow to promote connection within, connection with nature, and connection in our communities. As always this is your yoga practice and you are encouraged to take any modifications or resting poses as needed.
Class registration includes your choice of a beautiful mala necklace, hand crafted with 108 beads.
